On the Road Again
We had a great trip to Fairfax, Virginia and had a great reception by our hosts at Fairfax Baptist Church. Thanks Charlotte Balis, Pastor Ritz and congregation for a great time. We are off for the summer, will get back to work in August. Any guys interested in singing with us in the fall, let us know. We are looking for a couple of voices.
Take us home with you.
Our third CD “Still Hooked” is now available. You can order it through our contacts page on this website by email. The original artwork is by A.C. Daniel, at the time a student at Aiken High, and now in the fine arts department at USCA
We are now in the midst of a series of sacred concerts over the next 18 months in the churches where we sing as individuals on Sunday mornings. Contact us if you would like to have us at your place of worship.
Our opener was at St. Thaddeus Episcopal Church on November 10. We were the “choir” in the morning service and had a concert in the afternoon.
See You On a Sunday – Trinity, UMC
Then, a concert at Trinity United Methodist Church on the south side on January 26, 2014 at 3 PM. No tickets – a free will offering will be taken.
See You On A Sunday – St. John’s
Next we will sing for St. John’s United Methodist Church in downtown Aiken as the “choir” on March 2 at 8:30 and 11, and do a show the following Sunday, March 9 afternoon at 3
We plan a return to the Aiken Center of the Arts on Saturday, March 29, 2014 to revisit art and song – this one in color with flying paint, some of the Aiken area’s more well-known artists and some of the kids from our “Song in Our ‘Art” show last season with plenty of new music for them to interpret with a paintbrush.
Hopelands Gardens with our boys
We will be at Hopelands, Monday May 12 and are hoping to have Boundary Boys and Bound to Sing with us. Updates to come
Stay tuned – (and so will we!!)
